Charles R. Oehrlein, DPM, DABMSP
Board-certified podiatric physician and surgeon, Charles Oehrlein, DPM, DABMSP, has been in private practice for 25 years. His undergraduate education took place at Syracuse University in Syracuse, NY, after which, he attended Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, PA where he graduated in 1998 with a Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Oehrlein’s postgraduate training included a residency at the VA
Hospital in Wilmington, DE.
Dr. Oehrlein is board certified by the American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry in: Prevention and Treatment of Diabetic Foot Wounds and Diabetic Footwear, Podiatric Medicine and Podiatric Surgery. He is affiliated with Ascension St. Vincent's Blount in Oneonta, AL.
Dr. Oehrlein has been a guest lecturer at several conferences, including International seminars regarding Diabetic Feet. He participate in the Medicare Physician Quality Reporting System (PQRS) Incentive Program, and has had extensive training in the Medicare Electronic Health Record (EHR) Incentive Program.
Dr. Oehrlein resides with his wife and two children in Helena, AL. He is an avid Adult-Onset Athlete, and has completed 5 Warrior Dashes including the Iron Warrior, 11 half marathons, 4 Olympic length triathlons, 2 Half-Iron length triathlons, along with many shorter distance competitions.
